About: 1991 Class C Four Winds RV. Free. You tow or pay for towing.
Pros: 61,978 miles, good tires, only 296 generator hrs, 4 fantastic fans, all hoses included as well as outlet adaptors (new), tire and windshield covers, and extra large tarp.
Cons: Roof leaks, mold damage, fridge doesn't work, generator needs repair, and RV does not run (rats got under the hood..could be simple repair or not, we do not know as we are not mechanically inclined).
My husband and I lived in this RV until 3 months ago when we were able to upgrade. It has been parked in the beautiful hills of Sunol, CA for 5 years. We had it plugged into a wall outlet in a nearby garage with just a simple adaptor and extension cord which was enough to power a mini fridge, fans, space heaters, microwave, and toaster oven. It can also run on propane. We began making repairs but just didn't have the time or skills to bring it to its full potential.
This RV is ideal for someone that is handy and has the time to repair it, or for anyone that has a place to park a rig that doesn't need to drive it.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND: This RV is located on a narrow road on top of a hill. My father in law, who was a professional truck driver, was able to drive it up there (when it ran) with no problem whatsoever. Fed Ex, UPS, etc. drive up all the time, so it's really not that bad but will require a skilled tow truck driver that is comfortable with heights and narrow roads. MUST be willing to view the RV and the property before committing to towing it. This is just to make certain you are serious, no need to waste your time or ours.
