My name is Matt, I’m a bay area based builder. At the beginning of the pandemic I began building this tiny house from the trailer up at my workspace in West Oakland. It’s been my passion project from lockdown up until it’s recent completion, and I’m excited to find someone who will make good use out of this space.
This 190 sq foot tiny house on a trailer would be well suited for someone who appreciates good craftsmanship and unique wood features. On this build a lot of time and care were given to combining aesthetics and efficiency while making an effort to incorporate the best wood that I’ve reclaimed through my years as a builder/remodeler. Most of the details, including the trim, the floor, the stairs, and the exposed beams in the kitchen are made from old growth Douglas Fir I salvaged from an old cigar warehouse in Oakland.
The size of this house makes it ideal for fitting into a backyard in urban areas or could be rolled on to your property outside the city. This house is moveable.
