Constructed in 2020 with light framing on a heavy duty, tandem axle trailer. Exterior is galvanized metal with PVC trim and accent panels; maintenance free! Floor and roof are R25, walls R15; all rigid insulated panels with 100% thermal break! Six operable windows with entry on the rear deck side maximizing the interior footprint. The interior is all wood with wide pine board flooring.
The living space has a built in couch (storage below) and a beamed ceiling supporting the sleeping loft. There is a work desk, gas fireplace and plenty of ambient light.
Past the living are two wardrobes, clothing and supply cubbies and stairs to the loft. The custom kitchen has ample storage, butcher block counters and a copper sink. There are also wall cabinets and shelving. A gas/electric refrigerator/freezer and gas cooktop complete this area.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the bathroom with composting toilet and full size shower with galvanized metal walls and a heavy duty PVC base. Hot water is a 6 gallon LP gas heater. There is a 42 gallon potable water tank and a matching 42 gallon grey water tank. Designed for off grid living, this tiny home also has full electric, water and waste connections via RV-style hookups.
The sleeping loft is simple but functional with a comfortable double bed, shelving and two large awning windows. There is custom lighting throughout and 5 low voltage fans.
The home has 680 watts of solar panels, a 100 amp/hr lithium ion battery and a 20-amp service connection. LP gas storage is two large, 30 lb tanks. Heat sources (3) include a conventional RV gas furnace, a gas fireplace and a small electric radiant heater when plug in power is available. A small window AC unit also comes with the home.
