This tiny house shell is constructed on a dual-axle, 26' goose neck trailer, with an additional 8' long "split level" over the hitch. It was built by professionals following Colorado building codes for framing, roofing, and electrical.
Currently complete on the house:
Roofing (commercial-grade, seamless metal)
House-wrap
Windows
Insulation (rigid foam and thermal-barrier)
Electrical wiring (including solar-wiring run to lights/switches for eventual solar hookups)
It is currently ready for the finishing stage of construction; siding, flooring, counters, etc.
The tall side of the house on the interior is 10', floor to ceiling, and 8' on the lower side. The width is 7'6". An interior wall separating the tail of the trailer to be the bathroom is 6' with a storage loft to be built over the top. The design locates the bedroom over the hitch, kitchen along the wall opposite of the entrance, and a possible spot right-opposite of the doorway for a fire stove and living room area. The bathroom size is designed to accommodate a clawfoot tub, sink, toilet, and stacked washer-dryer (apartment sized). Plumbing was going to be done toward the end and laid out in a way that only a few sections of plumbing would be exposed. This is primarily to avoid running pipes through the wall and mitigate the risk of freezing pipes during the winter.
Buyer will be responsible for transportation of the tiny house.
