This beautiful tiny house has a vaulted ceiling and big windows that provide an abundance of natural light that fills its modern interior. The 10 foot galley kitchen with custom built cabinets and a zinc countertop has a deep porcelain sink, two burner stove, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. A full size roll out bed stows away beneath a platform providing an open spacious feeling to the living space. Reclaimed maple hardwood flooring extends the length of the interior and onto the platform that has a 5’ x 7’ closet and office area. The bathroom is a wet bath with a composting toilet.
A solar array, lithium battery, inverter, propane heat and rainwater collection-storage-treatment, has allowed this tiny house to be completely off the grid. It is also fully wired to plug into the grid which would allow for heavier loads that a mini split or washer/dryer requires. The house was built on an 22’ x 8’6” trailer using SIPs (structurally insulated panels) that have insulation ratings of R26 for the walls and R40 for the roof.
