Tongass Tiny Home Tiny House on a Trailer for Sale in Sitka, Alaska

160 square foot unit incorporating timber and young growth wood milled in Southeast Alaska, including Yellow Cedar, Red Cedar, Sitka Spruce and Red Alder products. Built on a trailer with plumbing, electric, and appliances installed. Featuring a loft bedroom, loft storage, full bath, and custom cabinetry. The loft bedroom includes a large egress window. Construction of the Tiny Home is ongoing, so some design input may still be possible (installation of interior flooring and walling is underway, to be followed by standard finish work). The Tongass Tiny Home was built by students in Sitka High School's Career and Technical Education Program. All proceeds from the sale will be reinvested to support local workforce development initiatives. The Tongass Tiny Home project is an investment in Alaska’s future, through building the skills of Sitka students and through investing in local businesses and economies. It is also a contribution to the local conversation about sustainable and affordable housing in Sitka. We will cover verified shipping costs of up to $3,000.
