Custom Amish built portable shed is only 1 year old. Built on skids, NO foundation and is movable with a wide-load semi trailer. Transom window and lofted ceilings make it feel big, bright, and roomy.
Outfitted with 220 up-to-code plug in capability. Can plug straight into battery source or converter, has indoor fuse box. Some 12v lines have been run as well in case solar is used. But we use the AC outlets throughout the house for lamps and other electrical needs.
Home comfort features: thermal pane windows; rain barrel(or hose)pump serves the full-house plumbing; Nature's Head composting toilet; small bath tub; propane hookup lines run for tankless water heater and 4 burner cookstove, with an extra indoor hookup in case propane fridge is used (each hookup can be shut off individually); private bedroom on lower level with built-in raised bed; charming refinished antique kitchen sink; Fishers cooktop wood burner with insulated stove pipe; 64sq feet of loft storage plus surprising amount of storage potential on main level.
Ceramic tile, wood floors, and other interior features were upcycled from Habitat for Humanity. Fully insulated, with extra foam insulation under floor. Interior may need some extra trim finish.
Service door is insulated steel door with handle lock. Full view doors in main living area are currently windows, can be mounted for use with some custom fitting.
