I’ve lived on this bus for a couple years and have been able to live eco-friendly, off grid and adventurous for that time. It’s amazing how much you save financially living this way. I paid off school loans, bus loans and personal credit card loans in that time. It’s a great way to get ahead and enjoy a life-enriching experience.
This bus is a RARE engine find. The 8.3L is bulletproof and allows the bus to handle the weight of a Skoolie properly. You can maintain speeds of 55mph uphill and 75 on straightaways. Most buses have a 5.6L which is severely underpowered for even a school bus on its own.
