New construction THOW for sale. I began building this THOW, my second, in November 2019 then Covid hit but now it's finally ready for its new parents! This home features lots of interior and exterior lighting, and windows galore. I designed it with an open floor plan for minimalists who prefer more space over material things. I also chose not to "finish" the interior so that the buyers can personalize it and make it theirs: currently the home is only in need of storage capacity, appliances and interior decorations. I am able to provide and install these items but feel there is more excitement and buy-in (dun-dun-tchh!) for the new owners if they are able to orchestrate this aspect.
I have spent over $25,000 in materials building this home, and more than that amount again in labor over the last year. Built on a 20' foot Iron Eagle trailer, the open floor plan extends the home to 22' with a cantilevered loft and bumpout extension. I used higher end materials throughout: solid oak hardwood flooring, Kraus sink, PaperStone kitchen countertop and swinging bartop, 3/4" quartz tile bathroom floor, movable loft ladder, Fibo shower wall panels, Plygem 8' high sliding patio door, Villa Separett composting toilet etc. I designed every facet of the home myself and completed all the work in-house, including the framing, plumbing, electrical, roofing, countertop fabrication, etc. I even harvested and processed the beautiful blue pine exterior siding from a thinning project on a property in the Columbia Gorge with the help of a friends portable sawmill.
