Custom non-toxic tiny house built by Ben Garratt and the Tiny Healthy Homes team, completed in April 2021. Situated on a beautiful plot of land, part of a kibbutz-inspired cohousing community in the desirable Mad River Valley. The cohousing community sits on 93 acres of mostly forested land with cross-country skiing and hiking trails, an organic farm with chickens and sheep, and a sugaring operation. There is also a lovely brand new community common house. The 10ft x 30ft tiny house sits on the edge of the woods, close to the center of the community but with plenty of privacy, with a large cedar deck facing into the forest. All of the components in this home were chosen for their non-toxic and sustainability characteristics. This tiny house is on a trailer, but the tires are currently removed and the bottom of the trailer has been insulated and surrounded with metal skirting.
