This new home is built through a grant opportunity from KVEC (Kentucky Valley Educational Cooperative), is built by high school vocational students, and all money from sale will go back to the school to build a new home. It is built on an 8.5’x 24’ trailer with 2 - 7000lb axles, 8 lug wheels, specifically built for tiny house construction. The square footage is approximately 226. Floor is covered with ¾” Advantech subfloor. The walls are full 2x4’s framed 16” on center, standard construction, with R-13 fiberglass insulation. The rafters are 2x6 framed 16” on center with R-19 insulation. The exterior walls are sheathed with ½” OSB board as well as the roof. The exterior walls were covered with wrap and vinyl siding.
