This house was the feature build on Tiny House Nation in January 2017. It is on season four (or five depending on where you look), episode two – “Ever Growing Tiny House.” It is easiest to find on iTunes. It is a completely custom, one of a kind, beautiful, modern home with nice finishes, fixtures, and appliances. - licensed builder, electrician, and plumber - builder was Glenmark Construction from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota - 28 foot trailer with three 7,000 pound drop axles, custom made by Retco - each end extends out two feet for the lofts, making the top of the house 32 feet long - roughly 220 square feet on first floor, about 330 square feet total with two lofts - loft bedroom, plus small bedroom on first floor (the small bedroom could be used as an office, closet, storage, many uses) - Fujitsu mini split for heating and cooling - in-floor electric heat - house is ready for propane heater, but does not currently have one - Eccotemp on demand hot water heater - 55 gallon fresh water storage tank - Nature’s Head composting toilet - bathroom has small tub, toilet, sink, and washer - 14 windows plus window in door (lots of light!) all of them open. Most slide open horizontally, 2 casement, and 2 awning - Ikea sink in kitchen, Franke sink in bathroom, - Franke faucets in kitchen and bathroom - Pergo laminate flooring - Criterion 7.4 cubic foot fridge - Atwood stainless steel stove with three burners, propane fueled - Silestone quartz countertop - one of a kind, custom garden wall with irrigation system, grow lights, and waterfall - custom bench that folds out into bed - floor has about 2.5″ of rigid foam + 4″ of spray foam insulation – about R40 - walls are 2×4 construction with spray foam insulation – about R21 - ceiling is built with 2x8s, cut down two inches across the 8.5 foot span (for drainage) with spray foam insulation – about R35-49 - rubber membrane roof - Marvin Integrity windows - all lights in ceiling are LED
