History/Introduction
We are selling our nearly-complete Tiny House. This Tiny House was designed and built by a group of high school students, with the intention of donating it to a nearby Refugee Resettlement Project. Unfortunately, changes in foreign policy have made it clear that the refugee center will be better off with a cash donation than with a place for newly-resettled refugees to live. Coupled with the pandemic, we are left with an almost-completed Tiny House that we are selling at a great price. All proceeds will be donated to the College of Southern Idaho Refugee Center.
The House
The house is built on a 8'6"x22' flatbed trailer. It's constructed of efficient SIPS (structurally integrated panelling system). A professionally installed metal roof caps the structure. It boasts one central room, with kitchen and living area. The bathroom has sink, incinerating toilet, and shower. Upstairs, the loft (up a ship's ladder) is the sleep space.
What Work Remains
The house is not complete. It still requires some interior finish work, including installation of countertops and shower.
