Hope House Bastrop is a women's substance abuse recovery and transition program located in Bastrop, Texas. Hope House is different from other recovery programs in a multitude of ways. One of our biggest differences is that we feel called to not only be a place for women to find their recovery through spiritual and community support, but also as a place for women to realize that they are capable of so much more than they have been told up to this point in their life. In addition to our screen printing shop, Hope House women are also taught building trades. In spring 2017, the women in our program, under the supervision of our director, began building their first tiny home. We are excited to announce that this charming home is now for sale! All proceeds from the purchase of the home go back into our program and help pay for scholarships (most of our women do not have the means to pay to be in the 6-month program), household supplies, rent and utilities, job, vehicle, continuing education, and legal costs for our residents, staffing, and for us to continue the work that God called us to do since 2014.
