This is a brand new 24’ x 8’ model. It is constructed of high efficiency and durable fiberglass SIP panels (more information on building materials below) for easy heating and cooling, lots of window light, and an open and airy design that makes it feel much larger than reality at 232 square feet, including the loft.
The living space contains a built in, custom couch with integrated storage. A desk with overhead shelving and a walnut top is also in this space.
The kitchen is equipped with a full-size LG fridge/freezer combo, large stainless steel sink, a Panasonic mini convection oven, a Summit two-burner electric stovetop, and custom cabinets below and above. The countertops are also solid walnut with a durable epoxy finish. The stairs that run adjacent to the kitchen also supply extra storage, as well as an LG electric washer/dryer combo.
The bathroom is also designed for comfort, with a full 36” x 36” shower, vanity cabinet with an oak butcher-block countertop, C-Head composting toilet, and an extra storage cabinet behind the shower.
The loft is a cozy space with two windows. It will fit a queen size mattress.
SIP panels (Structurally Insulating Panels) are becoming more popular for tiny homes, as the high-density foam makes for very good insulative value; however, we are among the first to employ a fiberglass and resin sheathed panel (instead of the traditional heavy wooden OSB or plywood options), which, in addition to efficiency, saves a huge percentage of the weight in the frame of the home. Impact and fire resistance are also impressive. Builders will provide more material information if requested.
