Details:
This is a spacious 8'x 16' tiny home that has extended eaves which makes it look a little bigger from the outside. It has a metal roof and is sided with galvanized corrugated steel panels. All of the windows are custom and double paned. We installed 9 windows plus a double paned glass door to allow in as much natural light as we could.
We relied on a rainbarrel to supply our kitchen sink and shower with water, though it can be hooked to a water source other than that. And it's equipped with a Marcy instant water heater that is temperature adjustable.
For power we used 2 deep cycle 12v batteries that in parallel that we'd charge off of a gas generator every couple days, depending on our usage.
For heat we used a little buddy propane heater that was fed from a propane tank outside of the house.
There is a loft upstairs with 3 duplex recepticals for all of your entertainment needs!
We built this tiny home during the summer of 2017 on a brand new Iron Eagle Pad Trailer. We loved it and we hope that the next owner will enjoy it as much as we did. We've recently upgraded to a slightly larger home near Portland that is not on wheels and we are in no longer need of it. For now, it's parked in our driveway.
