We are located on a beautiful 10 acre horse ranch,
1.5 hours north of Seattle on the west coast in Washington state,
15 minutes north of the college town of Bellingham.
It is a 45 minute drive further north to downtown Vancouver, Canada.
If you have ever longed to escape to the country and live a simpler life,
here is your chance to do it.
Garden space is available as well as free composted horse manure that your veggies will love!
No pesticides or herbicides have been sprayed here in 16 years.
Ideally we are most interested in hosting a kind, quiet person who can add value to this gorgeous property and tranquil small community- 3 others living here at the present moment, by being available to care for the horses and cats when the owner goes out of town.
Also 2 hours/ week of help with horse chores would be also deal.
In exchange you will get reduced rent for the coming month.
If you have other handy skills there is a chance to get additional hours of work on the ranch.
No horse experience required- we will teach you the best ways of how to effectively be around these gentle, beautiful creatures by speaking a language they understand.
The 5 horses living here are calm, friendly and well behaved.
And 4 curious barn cats will welcome attention and pets.

This is a gated and secure location so your tiny house will be safe.
30 amp RV hook up.

so you will need to have a composting toilet in your tiny house.
No smoking or vaping of any kind on the property.
Pets are on a case by case basis and with a pet fee.
1 dog maximum/inside cats only as we already have barn cats roaming around outside.
$675/month includes water, garbage service- if for 1 person.
