here is a video: https://vimeo.com/183546979 Hello Tiny House World! This is a 320 square ft tiny home built from a repurposed shipping container tiny home. This home has been built to code with r-20+ insulation throughout (r-40 ceiling and floor, r-20 walls) using closed cell spray foam insulation. The home is overbuilt and can withstand even extreme weather conditions (containers are made to withstand extremely heavy loads so snow load and wind load of this home is incredible) The siding was made by rusting flat sheet steel and the wood siding was painted with Behr Havana Coffee.
This house features custom metal work on the interior (metal beams were colored using plum brown barrel finish and window/door trim are also custom metal work). The accent wall in the living room was made using reclaimed barn wood (some of the 100+ year old nail heads are still visible in the wood). Electrical and plumbing are ready to go and can be hooked up to the grid or even off grid if that is what is desired.
We have a few more things to do like finishing the roof, put more shelving in, and adding the oven/stove, refrigerator, and washer/dryer. All of the hookups are in place and we will add those appliances after we find a buyer. We are planning to put the home on wheels but that too will be worked out with the buyer. The container home without a trailer is for sale for $57,000. If the home is put on wheels we will sell it for $67,000.
-Point of use water heater
-Electrical outlets on the exterior make it perfect for outdoor parties/BBQ’s
We hope you all like it and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
